[blue_heading]Sweet Peach Quick Bread Recipe $1.55 Per Slice $0.19[/blue_heading]
This simple Sweet Peach Quick Bread recipe may look long and laborious for the new cooks but most of this stuff is in your cupboards/dorm room kitchens just have a look around. Whatever you do just don’t be intimidated by any recipe because all of them no matter how complex can be broken down piece by piece to a very simple process. Personally I don’t start a recipe aiming to be the best cook there ever was but instead I aim to enjoy the process and for every few recipes that turn out not so great the one that does, is really worth it and I can make it again again for the rest of my days. So just give your attention to what you are doing and use common sense okay? lol. Be careful though, this is one tasty sweet bread so maybe only make it on the weekend or for special occasions.
Now that the leaves are changing color and fall has officially arrived I went on a sweet bread baking kick making this and at the same time another apple cinnamon version. My house smelt really darn good and I really enjoyed breakfast the next morning devouring a slice of this with warm melted butter on top! If your looking for a really great sweet bread recipe than try this out I promise you won’t be disappointed…unless you hate peaches but then why are you making this again? Enjoy.

- 1 Large Peach(chopped) $0.30
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour $0.03
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar $0.14
- 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar $0.06
- 1 tsp Baking Soda $0.04
- 2 Large Eggs(Beaten) $0.36
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil $0.08
- 1 tsp Butter Extract(or Vanilla Extract) $0.04
- 1/2 tsp salt $0.03
- 1/4 Cup Oats $0.04
- 2 tbsp Honey $0.14
- 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar $0.11
- 2 tbsp Milk $0.12
- 1 1/2 tsp Peanut Butter $0.06
- Pre-heat your oven to 350° and chop up your peach into small pieces. Then in a bowl mix flour, peaches, salt and baking soda together.
- In a separate bowl add your beaten eggs, sugars, vegetable oil, butter extract and stir together. Then add this to your flour mixture; it should look something like this...
- Pour your mixture into a greased loaf pan.
- If you want to add a topping now is the time. Mix powdered sugar, peanut butter and milk together before adding the honey and oats. I found it easier to just use my hand to sprinkle the topping on.
- Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until inserting a knife into the center comes out clean. Here you go freshly home made Sweet Peach Quick Bread Nom Nom!!
- *Tip-I like to wrap baked goods in aluminum foil and label them.
For all of the peach haters out there here is my apple version.
